before i start i'd just like to point out that the new inn churwell, morley where we will be celebrating american tossy-wotsits day this sat, the 4th july is known by the locals as the 'BOTTOM HOLE' and hope that no one thought we were referring to taking someone up 'the wrong un'

its gunna be a belter as we aint ericked for bloody ages and our rock n roll juice-sacks are fit to burst!!

thurs night saw the first (of many) jam nights at The Thornhill Arms pudsey

.

hosted by dave resurge and our own BSD it went rather well

.

plenty of peeps turned up and did a bit including all of the erics, sheila, banger, chris and ian (yung uns), paul export, plus peeps from styckleback, resurgence, shameless, mojo, cadillaxe, jay dee band, crush and the mighty rhythm, tantrum, flatliners and a few others who we dint really know but will hopefully become regulars

.

there was plenty there, the tunes were bangin', the beer was flowing and the curry was fooooooooooookin HOT!

.

hopefully we wont lose the running order list the next time we do it on thurs 30th july

.

but theres plenty going on before then, we cant wait for the new inn morley gig on sat 4th july now, you just know its gunna be mad

tues night saw the erics take to the practice rooms to polish up on stuff in preperation for our sat 4th july gig at the new inn morley

.

and speaking of playing with each other, we will be attending the jam night at The Thornhill Arms pudsey/stanningley on thurs 25th june hosted by dave resurge and our very own BSD

.

all backline and drums supplied so only guitars/basses/sticks needed if anyone fancies coming along and having a bash, theres also cheap beer and a free supper

.

plus, the tabbs are now confirmed as supporting us at the Cross Keys morley on sat 18th july

.

sam has broke his amp and LSD broke a fingernail in the underwear section of marks and sparks

GIG NEWS

tonight, fri 12th june (soz its late lads) sees our very own paul playing with splinter down at the new roscoe

sat sees BSD playing with heavy load at the railway knottingley, including support from new band uranium cranium (featuring some of the lads from no mercy for percy)

sat also sees the flatliners at the halfway house rothwell with our very own LSD and paul (yes, you heard it right as hes now joined them as well)

and to wind the weekend up in a fine style the flatliners have got a sunday teatime gig at the cross keys morley, kicking off at 5pm

and dont forget roxyrama are playing with david bowee at sheffields boardwalk next thurs 18th, check with the venue for tickets

and if you're very good and pray every night there might be an erics gig soon

this weekend sees another erics free party zone which i know will leave a lot of the womanfolk of rocksville and surrounding areas in a sad and sorry state

,

but dont worry as you can catch the rather splendiferous FLATLINERS, featuring our very own LSD on geetar and rockstar tantrums at the little un, south elmsall on sat night (6th)

.

a great bunch of lads playing songs by Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, Cult, Kaisers, Shed 7, James, Clash, Dirty Pretty Things, Ataris, Placebo, Jimmy Eat World, Fratellis and the Killers

.

also in the band are erics big bud dave (BELL END) who will be opening his first corner shop next month

just a quickie to say that paul and sam will be playing an outdoor gig with ROXYRAMA on sat 30th to an expected crowd of 5,000

its at soildiers field, roundhay park as part a great day in aid of the yorkshire cancer centre

.

and its free

styckleback kick it all off at 2pm with ROXYRAMA taking to the stage at 3.15pm

its been bloody ages since i put owt on here

first things first, last fridays erics gig at the new inn churwell was an absolute stormer, started of quieter than the normal rammedness but soon got to sardine proportions and the atmos was great, plus plenty of beers for the band!!
.
no erics for a bit now but this fri sees ROXYRAMA at the gasworks bradford and HEAVY LOAD at hoyland common WMC
.
sat night has none of our gigs but theres a great charideee do on at the cross keys morley called PINK ROCK 2009, with 7 top bands, stuff for kids early on including face painting and rides, raffles for geeetars n stuff, jonnny lynnot and italian tony will be supplying the pa all day (as well as playing with padded cell) plus joe johnson will be showing up to show support
.
its been sorted by top gal sue spider and all money raised will go to breast cancer charities, well worth supporting
.
sun then sees HEAVY LOAD over at pontefract trying out a new venue called the highwayman

.
