ALL MOD CONS
.

this thurs 28th sept will see us back at the old red lion seacroft

this will be our last gig for a few weeks (next gig @ the new inn morley, fri 20th oct) due to dave going to the palace to recieve his knighthood for services to sexyness

.

speaking of sexy
we called into this pub last week to see
(great band, go see 'em)
and were accosted by the scooter lads who use the pub for their club meetings who told us that they had recently met daves nephew mick (Travolta) at a rally and that a load of his club were gonna come over for the gig, so hopefully there should be quite a few scoooter boyz turning up and having a boogie
.
so if you want a seat, it might be an idea to get there a bit earlier
.
.
if any of you read the Rock of the North site you may have seen this in the comments page from lance, drummer with Heavy Load in relation to last fridays lion gig
.
Went to see the Erics for the first time last night at the Lion
Absolutely f***ing brilliant entertainment from start to finish
Wont get fooled again was the best I've heard it from any band
My vote for Best band.
.
JESUS
i dint think he'd drunk THAT much

-WHY BOTHER-
.

there's no point saying how fantasmagorical Saturdays gig at the roscoe was

.

if you were there, you know what it was like if you weren't, or even worse, if you have never been to a roscoe gig you just don't know what your missing

.

make sure you leave sat 22nd Dec free and get down there for our big xmas/Davis 40th bash

.

its gonna be the biggest, best and loads of other things beginning with b ever

we are hopefully going to record the cross keys and roscoe xmas/40th gigs for a future CD/DVD release

if Sam gets his way a limited run of 8 track and betamax will also be available

.

pics from the night to come when our very, very highly trained and professional photograther gets back to us

(ok, so it was snoopy with his phone)

but last night at the crimea was yet another corker of a gig

AGAIN
.

the place was packed before we started and everyone just seemed to want to enjoy themselves big time
the more the beer went down

the louder they got
with brick, video and newie 500 miles testing the locals tonsils to breaking point

CHEERS
,
below you will see the lads and lasses raising funds at our last roscoe gig
.
looks like fun!
.all in all over 360 squids
(get it?)
was raised for the leeds sea cadets

.

BRILLIANT!
.
now then

if you scan to the right on the links bit, you will see a new edition in the form of

GUN LAW
.

these lads have been on the go in one form or another for the past 236 years and dave (their sexy singerer) helped us out at the recent squires gig
.
they also said very nice things about us in their links bit
'Our friends ‘The Erics’. We would recommend you checking them out wherever they are playing'
so we've returned the do da (cant spell compliment)and stuck 'em on our links
.
some more news to come when i can be arsed with this bloody computer thingy
